The process of naming, assigning and evaluating food aromas or odors relating to articles of everyday use or raw materials not only requires expertise but also suitable reference systems. We offer bespoke standards in the form of reference solutions or user-friendly odorant pens, as well as other formulations and sachets.
Test systems are designed to deliver defined odor characteristics of either single odorants or in mixtures, which can be used as reference odors, for example for use in QA at the supply chain, or for training purposes by way of odor threshold assessments or validation of sensory panel performances. Such test sets can include assessment methods for establishing anosmia (olfactory dysfunction).
