Developed further, optimized and adapted to a wide range of waste streams, our institute’s CreaSolv® Process has made strides over the years. Now we are expanding capacities by building demonstration plants that produce very pure plastic recyclates with our process. An industrial pilot plant has been up and running in Indonesia since 2019. Projects are also underway in Europe: A larger multi-purpose plant at the Fraunhofer IVV, a 3000 TPY plant in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, and a plant for flexible plastic waste from lightweight packaging in Schwandorf are going up to provide diverse demonstration capacities.

Dr. Mäurer, who developed the CreaSolv® Process, says: “We are delighted with these extended demonstration capacities for our mechanical recycling process because they enable us to meet the great demand from the industry.” Contact us.
