Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVVThis is a cleaning test rig used for the investigation of cleaning processes through gravity driven falling films. Additionally it is possible to investigate different wetting states and determine flow parameters (e.g. film thickness) at this test rig. Continuous and discontinuous flows can be investigated. The accessible flow density is the result of the wetted width (max. 1m) and the controlled volume flow rate (max. 6.5l/min). Multiple tilt angles are feasible at the test rig. The temperature of the cleaning fluid can be adjusted up to 40 °C.The cleaning process is monitored inline.
