Ensuring quality standards: Technical Cleanliness in the packaging industry
The requirements for the cleanliness of components are not only constantly increasing in medical technology or the electronics and automotive industries. In the packaging industry, qualified proof of technical cleanliness is increasingly becoming a competitive quality requirement. In particular, the contamination of components by transport packaging is a major challenge. This is being intensified by the switch to new, fiber-based packaging materials.

As an accredited test laboratory for the verification of the Technical Cleanliness of components in accordance with VDA 19.1/ISO 16232, we carry out qualified, requirement-specific residual dirt analyses for our industrial partners. In addition, our cooperation in the field of environmental simulation enables us to analyze the potential contamination from transport packaging in advance and use the results to determine whether the components need to be cleaned again after transport. We recommend suitable cleaning processes and develop needs-based solutions for efficient cleaning processes
